Valued Customer,

ERF Wireless hopes you have enjoyed the Holiday Season and that 2009 will bring only the best to you and your family. We are excited about our plans for the New Year as well as many recent changes and improvements in our systems.

Telephone Contact Changes
For our Hill Country users, please use 888-534-9911 as the primary number to contact ERF Wireless Bundled Services. The forwarding telephone numbers previously associated with TSTAR Internet and Momentum Online will be retired in January 2009.

We are also changing our telephone system to better service your needs. During our rapid expansion, we understand there have been some problems reaching a live person at ERF Wireless with your first call. We will be reconfiguring our telephone systems to better meet your needs and assure you the best customer service possible. Changes and improvements will take place over the next few weeks with a targeted completion goal of mid February.

Billing Changes
In order to better serve our customers, ERF Wireless will be automating our billing systems in 2009. We are encouraging all of our users to pay Internet service subscriptions automatically via credit card or automatic checking. ERF Wireless is offering a $10.00 credit to any user who changes their payment method from manual check processing to one of our auto-pay options. Please contact our billing office at 888-534-9911 to change your payment method and claim your $10.00 credit.

Our billing cycles are being adjusted. Please note that ERF Wireless does not send statements prior to your monthly invoice date. All invoices for monthly Internet access are due and payable in advance on the first of each month. Accounts unpaid by the tenth of each month will be considered past due. Accounts that remain unpaid after the 20th of each month are subject to a suspension of service.

Network and Service Improvements
In recent months, ERF Wireless has made significant investments in our Hill Country Networks. These improvements will allow us to bring a new suite of communication products to the Texas Hill Country while increasing users' Internet access speeds and reliability.

In our Blanco County networks, we have added more redundancy and increased network capacity bringing more reliable services to users in Blanco, Johnson City, and Eastern Blanco and western Hayes Counties.

Service areas have expanded in the Lake Buchanan area with new towers and Internet access points.

New network paths have been added in Llano County as part of our 2009 plans to create a high capacity microwave communications 'ring' serving Burnet and Llano counties with redundant failover links to the Internet. With the completion of our high capacity data network users can expect improvements in reliability and service offerings for years to come.

We are excited about our opportunities and the possibilities in 2009 and are pleased to have you as part of the ERF Wireless Family.

Best regards,
Bob 'Bobby Mack' McClung

Greetings TSTAR/ERF users.

We at ERF wireless would like to take this opportunity to explain the Internet and email issues you experienced over Labor Day weekend, and share with you some of our plans for network improvements.

On Saturday August 30 the TSTAR DNS (Domain Name Server) experienced a failure and shut down. This is the server that translates Internet URLs (domain names) such as cnn.com to the particular IP address that hosts the web server you seek during Internet surfing. Our technician, Jason Norvell, went onsite to resolve the issues and had service restored shortly thereafter.

On Monday, the TSTAR email server had a power supply failure, interrupting email services for tstar.net email users. Once again our technician, Reed Ruthven, went onsite to restore services. He replaced the power supply with the only one available to him at the time; however, the power supply was a smaller unit that the server required, and as such was a temporary fix. On Tuesday, our technician Mike Montz went onsite, and with only a brief interruption in email, upgraded the email server power supply with the properly rated unit.

We understand this came on the heels of other service frustrations, not the least of which was our overloaded phone system and staff, making it very difficult to reach us quickly. We have taken steps to increase our telephone staffing and have made significant improvements, but there is still work to do in this area.

Within the next few weeks we will be moving TSTAR email services to a new server at one of our primary network operations centers for greater stability.

As for network improvements, in the month of September we will be completing a microwave ring from Marble Falls, to Burnet, to Llano, the Kingsland, and back to Marble Falls. Completion of this project with some reconfiguration of the network will enable redundant .failover. paths to the Internet from any point in this network ring, essentially allowing a second path to the Internet should any one tower be experiencing problems.

We will strive to keep you informed as to our progress on both of these upcoming projects.

Your local ERF team appreciates your business and is committed to bringing you the very best Internet service in the region.

All the best to each of you,

Bob .Bobby Mack. McClung
